  • Complete name/address changes and property location corrections if needed on your permanent index number.
  • Supply printouts of property descriptions the Cook County Assessor’s Office has on record for taxpayers to verify accuracy.
  • Assist residents in analyzing their Assessed Value to ensure their property is not overvalued or undervalued.
  • If a formal appeal is warranted due to inaccuracies, we will complete all forms, and file them with the Cook County Assessor’s Office.

  • Assist property owners, attorneys, realtors, appraisers, business people, mortgage companies, cities, villages, school districts, and related agencies by identifying and verifying parcel locations, property index numbers and other related information.
  • Monitor exempt parcel book for validity and assist tax exempt property owners with filing for annual tax exempt status.
  • Speak before community groups to help keep property owners informed about the real estate tax process and assessment issues.
